You are right, it has to be real soupy and the stinkier it is, the better.
Mine really love mackeral. Can't figure out why they do not like salmon.

I just let the hot water run until it is hot enough to warm up the food so it
smells good and they come running. I only give each one about 1 teaspoon
because they prefe the liquid to the actual meat. They will come back later
and nibble at the meat, but the liquid dissappears real fast.

I've never had a cat eat anything from the microwave. They are just too
smart for their own good! I always set any cold food out at room temp and
they have always seemed to like it better. Also, some just like to lick it
off your finger. It's worth it to get them to eat even if you have to hand
feed them for 20 min. This is just my experience with all the cats I have
had in my lifetime. Hope this helps :0)

My cats have never liked microwaved anything. Try filling a bowl with
very hot water then putting another bowl with the food into the bowl with
the hot water.

I don't eat meat but I've had people tell me that it is gross microwaved.

This was suggested to get her to eat, as for fiber you could add a
little peas or squash baby food to it, my kitties preferred the peas,
not too much or you will take the meat flavor away. Maybe a 1/4 jar of
peas to a jar of meat.

Great news! Just make sure to re-test after 3 months. That is what I have

Some of you already know my story. I fostered, then adopted a 3 mos old
kitten from the Humane Society. He passed away this past March of FeLV. I
have been worried sick about my other cat since he had not had the vaccine.
He had his second ELISA test today and it was negative. My vet did agree
with me from my research that normally a cat that has been exposed to FeLV
will test positive 28 days after exposure. So far so good. I'm feeling more
confident that he has cleared the virus since he is an adult cat (2 yrs old)
and has always been healthy.

I'm so glad to be a part of this group and have learned so much from many of
you.

Thanks for all your support! I'll still keep you posted and I wish the same
