OK, this doesn't have anything to do with FeLV, so I apologize.but a few
incidents happened at the shelter today that really made me angry, and really
made me sick of the way animals are treated in our society - as disposable
property, with no feelings, no thoughts, no value. An
Laura, I'm so sorry you've had such a tough day. I do TNR with feral colonies
and understand how frustrating it can be.
You make a difference for these animals. Please try to focus on the good you
do when having to deal with so many dimwits.

especially after all I've been through in the past several weeks with Tiger. I
don't have any money, either. But I could never imagine leaving my good friend
at a kill shelter.

Dear Laura M.,
Rant all you want - it's good for your soul to vent - we all need it at
times. I am in a lot better circumstances because I am a private rescue, no
euthanasia, but I have to deal with picking up all the discarded animals and
with those phone calls that always start with I've got
I totally understand your need to vent and what you vent about are the same
things I vent about constantly.
Just this week I went to the shelter to get out a momma cat that had four
kittens the day after she was left therehere they can just file out
papers and place them in a crate
The biggest problem is that because of all those stupid, selfish, ignorant
and irresponsible people, people like us are tormented emotionally,
physically, and financially drained.may they rot in hell, except that's
not soon enough for me!
