guesstimated to be 10 years old. Another challenge in my life but so glad to be

This Old Cat

I'm getting on in years,
My coat is turning gray.
My eyes have lost their luster,
My hearing's just okay.
I spend my day dreaming
Of conquests in my past,
Lying near a sunny window
Waiting for its warm repast.

I remember our first visit,
I was coming to you free,
Hoping you would take me in
And keep me company.
I wasn't young or handsome,
Two years I'd roamed the street.
There were scars upon my face,
I hobbled on my feet.

I could sense your disappointment
As I left my prison cage.
Oh, I hoped you would accept me
And look beyond my age.
You took me out of pity,
I accepted without shame.
Then you grew to love me,
And I admit the same.

I have shared with you your laughter,
You have wet my fur with tears.
We've come to know each other
Throughout these many years.
Just one more hug this morning
Before you drive away,
And know I'll think about you
Throughout your busy day.

The time we've left together
Is a treasured time at that.
My heart is yours forever.

I got the results back on Smokey today.  He has fibrosarcoma.  Has anyone had
much experience with this type of cancer?  Also, I spoke to the vet about the
black salve and he said I could try it if I wanted to.  I think Natalie was the
one that posted about it.  I need to find out what I need to do to join the
group she spoke about and get some of the black salve.

You ask me to invite you to join the 2053 Googlegroup…..Once you are a member,
you can look through the archives, see success stories where salve was used on
people and animals, get all the info on how to get salve and where to order the
herbs to make the tonic (or buy small amount from list owner). It really is
miraculous – one man’s arm was saved from amputation, a horse’s eye with cancer
saved, many bunny and rat owners are members because those poor little critters
get cancers….
You can actually look salve and tonic online, but they are NOT the same and are
much more expensive….
If you would use the salve as soon as possible, so it can still seep in through
the incision, it would be ideal.  It will come back if it had tentacles and it
was most likely squamous cell….
I would look for someone who may have a colony of cats that are cared for by
someone….the kittens would become tame, though, if given a chance!

I have never heard of this black salve.  Does it really help?  Where can I get
more information on it and the group?  I should get the pathology results back
in a few days.  I have felt a couple of very small knots on other parts of his
body so I am afraid it has spread.  The vet did take out a couple of lymph
nodes too.  I just can't get over how big this one was how I could have
missed it until now.  The vet told me that this one will come back and he was
afraid it would be pretty soon.  He said there was no reason to try to remove
it or any others because they would just come back.  I plan on spoiling him for
however long he has left.  When he seems like his quality of life isn't good
anymore then I will let him go.  Right now he is eating and playing.  He
doesn't act like anything is wrong.  I am so stressed out right now.  I trapped
a mom cat and her 2 kittens(although they are about 8 months old) and had them
spayed.  I found a
home for the mom cat but I still have the kittens which are feral and I can't
find a home for them.  They came from my work so I don't know anything else to
do but take them back to work and let them

live there me keep feeding them.  Does that sound terrible?  I just can't
keep them.  Anybody got any ideas?  I won't take them to the shelter because
someone told me they would euthanize them if they are feral.   Now poor Smokey
is sick.  Thanks for your prayers and ideas for Smokey.  I will let you know
what the pathology report says.

Would anyone with a cat or dog that has had cancer removed be interested in a
black salve that would get to the rest of the tentacles that the vet may not
have been able to remove? It’s not expensive, but you would have to join a
group where you would get advice from people who have used it and lots of moral
support, too.  It is for people and animals…there’s also an herbal tonic for
cancer, you get the herbs, brew up the tonic, etc. REALLY WORKS!  In cases
after surgery, the salve would be able to reach the interior through the
incisions.

Cindy, I will send you the invitation to join – I am in México right now, and
was having problems with internet connection…will try anyway, OK? All I need
is your name and address, and have both. Hope it works from here….

When you become a member, please describe and send your cat’s diagnosis, and
everyone will jump right in and help you with suggestions, help, and lots of
moral support, etc. I will also send you Pat’s address (keep it handy for the
future) and how to order the salve and herbs for the tonic. If the growth is
outside, easily accessible, it will work…or the vet may have to make a tiny
incision or needle hole so that the salve can seep into the tumor.

Hi all,

I posted an email to the moderator several days ago but I have yet to hear back
from her.  My situation is quite desperate with a stray cat that we took in.
Her name is Blackie and she was sitting on my door step several weeks ago on a
bitter cold day.  We fed her and put her up in my garage and she has been
living there the last several weeks.  We took her to the vet to get her
shots in attempt to get her adoption ready when the vet gave us the terrible
news that she has leukemia.  We have tried everywhere to get her adopted but
even the shelters will put her down because of the leukemia.  We would take her
in but family members have asthma and the cat would make it worse.  I am in
Cleveland and need help.  Please!  She is a wonderful and affectionate cat.  I
can send pics if you would like.  Does anyone have any recommendations for me?
Thanks, Kevin
