No, I don't have a home test. Thank you for the info on this. It would be great if I could check her at home too. Cindy Reasoner --- Jennifer Phaewryn O'Gwynn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Do you do home BG testing between blood curve tests > at the vet's office? You use a home meter and you >

Do you do home BG testing between blood curve tests at the vet's office? You use a home meter and you prick the eartip and get a very tiny blood droplet. Here's some info about that: http://www.sugarcats.net/sites/harry/bgtest.htm (how to home BG test) http://maxshouse.com/bgtest[1].mpg (vide

Your right. When they drew Smokey's blood it was from the vein in the neck and it wasn't nice to watch but if my being in there helped him it was worth it. I have a diabetic cat (Katie) and when she has to have her glucose checked they use the vein in the neck. Cindy Reasoner --- Jennifer Phae

I was really talking about drawing blood. Both the vets I use take the cats in the back to draw blood. They don't my dogs though. I guess dogs may handle the situation better. Last month when Smokey had to have blood drawn for a CBC, I asked they do it in the exam room. I thought it might help

Taking Smokey to the vet to get ImmunoRegulin through an IV is just not a good option for me. Smokey really stresses out at the vet. He hisses and is just really unpleasant. I have found that if they do everything in the examination room where I can be with him he does somewhat better. I will a

Last Spring, when Ember first tested positive for FeLV, I started looking into treatment options. ImmunoRegulin came up, so I spoke to my vet about it. I asked him if we could do it sub-q, and he recommended that we not. At that time, I wasn't ready to give IR a shot, so I didn't pay good a
