Yes, you can use on carpets – but as always, using anything, test on a corner
somewhere. For very strong odor, I do 50/50…for washing floors, I do ½ c to a
gal. water….in a spray bottle, to spray and wipe, I use a smaller amount, like

I use the enzyme spray from Wal Mart. It is cheap but it works great! Takes
odor out within a few hours. When I have to wash something I use a little
bit of carpet shampoo. The pet formula. Works great!

Unfortunately more than a few of my rescues "think outside of the box" or are
cross-eyed or something when it comes to pooping. Will the strong vinegar
solution work on Eau de Poop, a really unpleasant combination when another cat
comes along and douses the blob with a generous helping of Parfu
The vinegar and water solution is a great deodorizer all around. Poop and
pee. But you have to saturate an area, let it soak awhile and then clean as
usual.

Consider using rubber maid or knock off totes that are larger than
standard litter boxes. I really like Odo Ban for odor removal and
have had wonderful luck with it. I use vinegar in regular cleaning---
less toxic than many cleaners.
