Re this poor cat, Homey, that's doomed to die Wednesday unless a home is
found, do we/does anyone have a comprehensive list of
shelters/sanctuaries in the US that take FeLV cats? Any names we can
pass on to Judy and Amy? Or is this a dumb thing to ask since she/they
will already have contacted
Have you tried The best little cat house in PA?

open to this idea though. She feels that she has a
full house and just can't bring another one in,

do we (that's the collective we) have a basic primer on FeLV--about
how many cats throw it off, how vaccinated cats living with positives

one
has bothered doing any scientific studies on FELV, so anything we write is just
considered alternative or home remedies to the
research IS finally being done, on a limited basis, i'm
told--specifically at ucdavis, and i believe that gloria knows about
other studies.
of COURSE there's no research! when a problem is best solved by
euthanasia, where's the population to study?? and i'm not even
concerned with getting
Any chance she could keep this little guy with her others if they are
vaccinated. Sounds like vet is ready to euthanize may not be too
knowledgeable Maybe she wants to read some of the posts here about
folks' experiences with mixed households It sure sounds like she has
fallen in love
