2004+ has new text features which make such things unnecessary. and

First, check the playback parameters of each individual text expression;
my hunch is that the half dozen shapes are specified as playback parameters.
I actually had better luck programming the double-click to be
screen-specific instead of window-specific. (Since my Finale windows

couldn't get the screen specific shortcut to work.)
Anyway, it's the same principle as QuicKeys

Once you get used to iKey, it's pretty easy.
You assign double click to the bar num field measured from the left
bottom corner of the main window. When you hit the hotkey, the field is

I'm trying to create some libraries for editorial articulations and

I started by saving the libraries from the file where I created them.
I then loaded them into a blank template, and deleted all the
unnecessary stuff. I then did a data check to remov

Yes. That's why I suggested copy/INSERT. It's the only one I've used over
the years because it seems to work correctly. It would be nice to know if

This statement strikes me as hyperbole, but certainly there are some
serious flaws. The consensus is correct that there is no functional
difference between Copy/Insert and clip files. They both produce the

A few weeks ago I pasted together an orchestral score from 10 individual
sections ... you might recall my question about that.
Copy/paste never worked properly, and I do
