Anyone else run into this? I have two versions of Finale on my computer. (Mac) 2012 and 2014. I have two clients, one using 2012 and the other 2014. Opening 2012 in 2014 should not be a problem, but is it possible to launch 2012 and open the first client's files in that version so that if I

This is a playback question: if I want to have, say, a violin gliss through a couple of otherwise empty measures, how on earth do I get Finale to play that back correctly? If it's not clear: think of one bar in which the violin plays a top string E, then glisses upward over the next two bars

You need something besides the staff style in the measures in order that Finale not convert them to MM rests. Why not copy the notes in the original measure into all the following measures and then cover them with the staff style? Once they are covered with the staff style, Finale knows not to
