Finale 25. Clicking with selection tool on a measure in a large score very
slow. Takes 1-2 seconds to highlight the measure. Sometime it’s fine. Very
strange. Don’t know what causes it.
Mac, El Capitan, 2560x1600 resolution. Anyone else?

For some reason, I cannot select Adobe’s Times LT Std “Roman” in Bar numbers
font selection. Opened files revert to Phonetic style of the font. All other
font styles are OK. Articulation tool behaves the same.

Jeff,
How are you dealing with hairpin ends when they change to a sharp point at
certain length and subsequently become longer when working in tight situations?
This has been an issue for me since 2007 I believe.

I had the exactly same thing in Lion and Spotlight indexing fix (removing the

I have recently done a piece that had lots of these cut offs with clefs and

Turn off automatic update layout in program options. I think that's what I did

Thanks Brian,
It works if you import EPS but not PDF.

We have a problem with group names disappearing from the page view after
deleting number of measures in the file. All groups are set properly and
they display in the scroll view. Using TGTools to rebuild the groups does
not work. It puts the same text (i.e. Vc.) in all groups in the entire file.

Can anyone confirm that Windows version of Finale 2010 cannot embed Times
(Type 1 - Adobe) when exporting to EPS file? Times New Roman seems to work,
but numerous other fonts don't.

I have just opened the font and the middle slash in tremolo still has 3
copies on top of each other. This of course causes pdf problems when you
print directly to PDF driver, but when you compile PS listings we still have
the hairpin lines extension problems. I can not believe this.

Has anybody cued the linked parts using the stuff styles, which seems to be the
only way to cue the parts and preserve the linkage with the score? How
reliable and/or messy is it? I just don't know if I should go for it or
experiment later with something less important.
