The seven files are all ~.mus. They include chords, notes, repeats,
and lyrics.
Each is an individual file (not a linked part).
The file that I am printing from is also a ~.mus file. Two pages.

I deleted the eight measures that had the underline in them, and
printed the document again. When I printed the document, the line was
still there (just under the lyrics of the eight measures that were
moved up to take the place of those I had just deleted).

Hi all wise and experienced persons,
I am having trouble apply staff styles to both score and parts by
default in 2010a. I see a menu item that says Apply selected style
to score and parts, but I haven't figure out how to apply this

Based upon your updated information, my suggestion would be to do one of
the following:
a) If for some reason each file has to be a separate file, determine
where on the final finished page the top of each file needs to will be,
and set that determined value as the top page margin
Hi Dick--
Try turning off Smart Hyphens and Word Extensions in lyric options. I
think it might be an errant word extension.
