A couple of months ago I was desparately looking for something similar and didn't realize it had been removed. I had to opt for the bluetooth numeric keypad on my MacBook Pro, 2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo with 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, for some of those functions. It works pretty well for the Finale

Hi all, The Score Manager in Finale 2012 appears to have eliminated the Mute Note, Mute All, Solo None, and Solo All buttons that used to be in the Instrument List in previous versions. Is there another way to get this functionality, or are we now stuck manually muting and un-muting individual

Thnaks, John. Yes I should have mentioned that the laptop was old enough to still have that function. We've since tested it in other applications, and it works just fine. I'm thinking that I'll drag the keyboard from an old (bondi blue) up there and plug it into the macbook to see if it will

Problem solved. Songwriter wouldn't respond to the numlock option on this old (2007) macbook. We just plugged a very old iMac usb keyboard into the MacBook (2.16 Ghz from 2007) and it works fine with Songwriter. We've got the number pad and the functionality of the curser (arrow) keys. It
