It happens with 2012 also, part of it appears to be a Windows 8 issue, I do
not see the same sub directories with saving and opening files. Have
wasted so much time trying to get IPA syllables in a Warm-up and after I
kinda get it right, the file either won't open or disappears.

Vivian,
I see you already have responses,
but I am interested in finding out more about your project if you have not
agreed to have someone else work with you on it.

I am looking for a simple way to use IPA-International Phonetic Alphabet

Alberto,
MakeMusic's Staff is quite helpful
Not sure how the new 2014 interface connects to their site but in any case
you should be able to contact them here:
http://www.finalemusic.com/support/
You will need your Finale account info./serial number to sign in here. It
can be a tedious process bu
estart at each break.

If Finale didn't take over the entire Window, I could see instructions and
help menus while also seeing (in Finale) at what is being described, but it
only wants to exist in full screen or minimized or multiple Finale Windows.

Tried the uncheckTop Staff in Linked parts panel suggestion, Robert but
nothing happens.
Need to start measure numbering over in each section and
not show the time sig. change at end of previous section.
I am playing & singing multiple hymn settings for Christmas eve service so
need as many pieces
Richard, Glad to hear you found Mr. Patterson, but if you cannot find help
ehre, I suggest your log-into your Finale acct and ask them for help. It
takes a day, longer on weekends:( &may require multiple exchanges, but once
the figure out the problem, they can help.
