I don't know if this is the same thing but I had a similar problem. I had
just dragged the plugin file from the zip file to the new folder and it
didn't work. When I did a proper 'extract all' to unzip the zip file to the
new folder it worked OK.

Okay. Another idea I had is to trash your preferences. Sometimes this helps
with weird behavior, especially if it was working for a while before the
problems started.

"Set Current
Lyric" is set to the same verse/chorus/section number as you are expecting?
There is some strange behavior around this feature and it is worth checking.

However, marvellous as they are, they are a perfect example of my problem: I
can't use them because I can't copy/paste into the lyrics tool edit window!!

I am on Windows 10 with an i5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce graphics card
The setup has been working fine until today and I have been working with
Finale since 1998!!
Any pointers much appreciated

Just wondering if there is there any way to find out what the spacing IS
between the staves?
I sometimes open an old score that looks good because I've changed the
inter-stave spacing manually and it would be great to know how to repeat
those measurements (other than just by eye)
Thanks in advanc
Thanks for raising this. I'm also looking for the answer.

Subject: [Finale] Beam direction under triplets?
Hello. I am back with a questio
I recently needed to create a score with BIG time signatures but ordinary
sized time sigs on the linked parts.
The key technique I used to use the font 'Time (score)' at 60pt, adjusting
the 'Document options>Time signatures>Top and bottom symbols appropriately
and then using a staff style to hide
I think I would just move that bottom part into a bass clef stave and then
'explode' the top two parts.
Quick enough if you switch to layer 2 and then 'view active layer' before
you copy. Then you can delete the layer 2 and go back to having layer 1 as
the active layer.
YMMV

Maybe you had created an articulation library that included the symbols from
the Maestro font?
Two different sizes of accidental in parentheses are :
(#) at position 91 and 97
(natural) at 78 and 210
(b) at 65 123
At least they are still there in Maestro in my Fin2003 version
Hope that helps

Is the Finale list still working? I haven't received any postings in the

Thanks

Apologies for the late response to this.
I've also had difficulties relating font names to the 'proper' font
name, and found this web site useful:

Not quite sure I follow: Why would I want the second violin part in the
first violin part?

If there is an easier way then I'd love to hear about it.
Hope that helps

Prior to some of the TG Tools being provided as additional plug-ins I
wasted *hours* doing workarounds (I do a lot of opera reductions), and
am still grateful to Finale for providing this particular labour saver!!

voices in the same 'verse'. I haven't had problems when I keep all the
voices in separate 'verses' - Finale usually redistribute the syllables
