In the old days, I used to create custom fretboards in the shape designer,

still be a viable option depending on the size of your score.

Re: [Finale] Chords - Fretboard

2009-03-23 Thread Darcy James Argue

Hi Larry,

Actually, when I check Fretboard for one chord, it shows fretboards
for every chord.

Hi Darcy,
You can. You just have to check or uncheck fretboard for each
chord. Its not global.

Also, thanks for all the help you (and everyone) else have
unknowingly given me. I don't write in much, but I read most of the
posts. I glad there's actually something I can help with for a
change.

By the way, I don't see my posts come back to me from list so I'm
never sure if they actually make it. Is that normal?

Is it possible to show fretboards for only selected chord symbols?
Or are we confined to a global all-or-nothing setting?

Hi Noel,
In the Chord Definition menu, under Show, fretboard needs to

Re: [Finale] Chords - Fretboard

2009-03-23 Thread Larry Beekman
I think you have to turn the chords off individually, not on as
you would think, Darcy. I know I've done it, and I also remember it
was a bit of a nuisance. When you get it right, the chords still show
up, but they are dim and they don't print. Let me know if that works.
If not, I'll go back and see how I did it. I've got to start my
teaching now or I would check more thoroughly.

I still am not getting my own messages back from the list. Does anyone
know why that would be? Thanks,

Larry,

I know it's obvious, but have you checked the subscriber options under
your account to see that receive copies of your emails is set up the
way you want it?

Thanks, Dick. It might be obvious, but I didn't think of it! Anyway, I
checked and it looks like I do have my account set correctly so it
must be something else.
