I have always prided myself on being the guy who sight reads every
repeat, every D.S, every D.C., every coda sign, every cut, every time.
Sometimes this is a challenge - every assistant conductor and every
guest conductor has to cut up and change the repeats on the Strauss
waltz cycles
Question:
In MacFin2011 can we have = the bar numbers formatted differently in
different parts?
= nbsp; For instance, in the vocal part I want the bar number to appear
only at the beginning of each system on top of the staff. In the instrumen
tal parts I want the bars
I think that works through the measure number dialogue box: one set of numbers
and positions for the score and another for the linked parts.
There are several different settings for each in the lower two thirds of the
dialogue box that should accomplish that.
Is that what you need?

Clearly there are historic and formal reasons for the continued use of
some repeats. And page turns can also be a consideration. But the original
post was about a double coda. My comment was especially about complicated
and non-standard patterns as well as a general statement that we should

Otherwise, use the octave transposition and the treble clef with an 8

Hi All,
Here's my setup: FinMac2010b, Mac OS X 10.6.7, ARIA Player 1.111.
With both GPO 4 and JABB, the ARIA Player (both stand-alone and in
Finale) is ignoring the pan settings. Mono instruments like winds and
strings play back centered regardless of the pan setting in the mixer.

Use the Instrument List to set pan settings.

Sorry I haven't been where I could answer this properly until now. In the
Transposition dialog, select the Bass Clarinet transposition (Bb up a M9),
then change the Interval to 15. Done.
