I'm having some trouble building octave from the bleed-edge sources.
The resulting bus error leaves gdb essentially useless (it is unable
to determine where the crash occurs).
In any event, it occurred to me that I may be having problems with the
tool chain. I'm building on Leopard and am

OMF file [/sw/share/omf/gnome-desktop/fdl-eu.omf] does not validate
against ScrollKeeper-OMF DTD:

Unable to register /sw/share/omf/gnome-desktop/fdl-eu.omf

HTH,
I have donwloaded alot of files to get a program to
work but there is like 10 of them that want download.
On the statis thing it says archived next to them.
So how do I get them download and installed?
List of the files:db42-bin, db42-doc, libxml2,
netpbm10, xfree86, xfree86-base-threaded,
Archived means that they have been built on the machine, but not
installed yet.
If you're using Fink commander you can just Source-Install them.
On the other hand: you can't have xfree86 and xfree86-base* /
xfree86-rootless* simultaneously.

This means that you made fink believe you had xfree86 installed from
