I can’t cvs update. The old stale lock problem:
cvs update: [23:12:34] waiting for thesin’s lock in
/cvsroot/fink/dists/10.9-libcxx/stable/main/finkinfo/net
It’s been going on for a while. Unfortunately, when I tried to use adminrepo
--unlock cvs from the shell (which always used to work) I just

While updating to dpkg 1.10.21-1246 on 10.13 I get the following error:

There is a new OpenSSL libversion out, 1.1.0. I’ve made a new package but want
to check with everyone else where I should put it, base or crypto. It does have
a new BuildDepends, text-template-pm, so that would have to move to base too.
Also note that not everything will be able to use it right

I just put some updated ncurses packages in my experimental cvs.
ncurses 6.0 can be built with one of two different ABIs: 5, which is compatible
with ncurses 5.x and 6, which is source compatible but not binary. I updated
libncurses5 and libncursesw5 to 6.0 but using --with-abi-version=5 to rema

There are a lot of unneeded branches in the fink repo. Some have already been
merged and others are really old (from the CVS days) and were abandoned years
ago. They're so out-of-date that they could have no practical use. Would there
be any objection to me deleting them? Are there any ones that

For the past half hour I've been getting
cvs commit: [15:07:15] waiting for aida_s's lock in
/cvsroot/fink/dists/10.7/stable/main/finkinfo/crypto
when trying to commit to 10.7/stable/main/finkinfo/crypto. Does anyone know how
to free a cvs lock? It seems to be just crypto that's stuck.
