Hi ,
I want to do fink installation of coot.
When doing that I was required to install other packages.
It gives the following error when I try to install glui-2.1.16.
"ranlib libglui.a
(c++ -dynamiclib -o libglui.2.1.dylib -install_name /sw/lib/libglui.2.dylib -compatibility_version 2.1 -current_v
Works without issues.

It seems you're a bit confused, understandable given the GCC
