maintainer. I would like to take it over and
update it with the proposed lesstif-0.95.0-1
packaging on fink tracking. I revised this
new packaging last night to utilize all of the
existing fixes from the debian -2.1 release of

Actually after looking over the current lesstif package in
fink unstable, I would say it is impossible that dropping
the Motif 1.2 shared libraries would cause any breakage.
The current lesstif package only bullds the Motif 1.2 shared
libraries but never installed the Motif 1.2 headers.
A few additional comments about my plans to update
lesstif to version 0.95.0 which no longer builds Motif 1.2.
This change has actually been in place since Sept 26, 2004
with lesstif 0.93.96. This change was made after several
years of lesstif building Motif 2.1 as the default...
