Hello again,
This issue remains unresolved. I'd be happy to test if scribus-aqua will build
with one of the existing boost versions, if given instruction on how to do so.

My mom's computer was recently updated to 10.11 by an Apple Store repair job. I
have fink installed on that computer so that she can use gnucash2 to manage her
finances. Do we have an estimated time of arrival for gnucash2 on this version

Basically, if fink doesn't install system-openssl-dev before the xrootd4 build,
it can succeed. Otherwise it will fail.

Scratch that, I found the difference. On the i7 machine Fink's openssl100 stuff
was installed. Purging the headers made the build fail. So, I can report that
xrootd4 and root5 successfully build with Fink's openssl packages.

Hello all,
I've recently run into an issue with an external piece of software that
compiles libgit2 for its own uses. Long story short, Fink's libiconv produces a
build conflict that is not easy to remedy. The github issue discussing the
problem is at:

No worries. The need isn't urgent on my end, but thank you for your prompt

I'm trying to install gnuplot and the build of Aquaterm is stalling. Fink isn't
reporting a failure. Hitting enter does nothing, so it isn't just waiting for
input. So, I'm not 100% sure the build has failed, but the build isn't using

Not sure what’s going wrong. Missing dependency maybe?

Hello all,
I’m getting multiple packages, especially gnucash2, complaining about the lack
of system-java16-dev on my new mac. I’ve installed
java_for_os_x_2013005_dp__11m4609.dmg, but it doesn’t seem to have rectified
the problem. Running fink apropos java, I get:
i system-java 1.6.0-
Never mind. It finally downloaded on one of the systems.

Is this an internet problem, ghostscript problem, or what?

Hello all,
The download of the docs part of python34 fails on the hash checksum
part of the compile. I suspect that the maintainer simply overlooked
updating in for 10.9.
Thanks,

Hello all,
It I'm getting a download failure in the latest netpbm11 update. I'm guessing
there's a typo in the version? After all, I would guess that netpbm11 would
have version 11.67.02, not 10.67.02.
Thanks,

I'm compiling with:
