Thanks for the quick response on this. The good is that the change to
ConfigureParams found the X11 libraries. The bad is that it bombed
during the make. Here is the output:
sudo fink selfupdate-cvs

emboss-kaptain on that system.
But more importantly, emboss-kaptain is no longer updated by the developer with
newer versions of emboss. I recommend you install kemboss instead which works
with the latest version of
