Thanks for the advice everyone -- in the end, it seemed easier to find a pre-built wget binary for OSX Lion and just install it in /usr/local/bin. I'd rather have built it using Fink, and once I calm down, I'll probably do so. But I still find it irksome. 8/ v. On 10 November 2011 14:19, Hanspet

For a long time, I've preferred to use wget over curl, and installing it through FInk was quick and easy. This morning I went to do a fink update, and now all of a sudden wget reports all these as dependencies: autoconf2.6 automake1.11 blt-dev blt-shlibs cpan-meta-pm5123 cpan-meta-yaml-pm docboo
