Been searching around for a fix for this for some time, no one else
seems to be having the same problem.
I have installed Apple's X11, and used it successfully, previously,
with fink. However, after a recent reformat, despite fink showing the
placeholder system-xfree86 etc is

In 10.2 there is such a thing. So maybe this is just the missing thing.
Is it wise just to copy it from the 10.2 directory?

OK, I didn't find this FAQ. I tried the SDK from the website but this
didn't want to install on the panther disk.
