Scratch that, I found the difference. On the i7 machine Fink's openssl100 stuff
was installed. Purging the headers made the build fail. So, I can report that
xrootd4 and root5 successfully build with Fink's openssl packages.
Sean

to be there. xrootd4.info,
however, does need an openssl, and openssl100-dev and shlibs work fine for the
build.
Basically, if fink doesn't install system-openssl-dev before the xrootd4 build,
it can succeed. Otherwise it will fail.
Thanks,
Sean

, with Xcode7 system-openssl-dev looks like it
may not satisfy the needs of xrootd4 anymore.

Well, I'm back to Xcode 7, and the build works. It's a shame that atlas can't

Hello all,
I'm trying to compile a very simple c++ program using Fink's
boost1.55-nopython-1.55.0-4, and it's quitting with the following error:
libc++abi.dylib: terminate called throwing an exception
Abort trap: 6
I'm compiling with:
g++ -I/sw/opt/boost-1_55/include -c -o test.o test.cpp
Never mind, I found the problem. Boost's implementation of the incomplete beta
function doesn't allow negative second argument.

It looks to me like your Xcode and Xcode Commandline Tools are not from a
