Hello everyone!
I'm executing a query on IBexpert on a view and I'm getting the result as
expected but when I try on the isql, with the same user and the same query,
it return 0.
Does any one know why and how to solve this?
Regards,
Marcelo GuimarĂ£es
Thanks! Now I see why Dimitry said it was a problem of badly designed program.
I always try to be very carefull with transactions, but clearly I'm missing
something here.
The problem are the read/writte transactions, right? No problem with the read
only ones?
Is it possible to know which
Hi.
To extend this answer i can only say that you have long running transaction.
Look at your last active and next. Go to mon$transaction and look which
transaction is so old

No.Problem is drive's speed and badly designed application that you use.
First problem
you can solve with SSD and Firebird 4, second problem requires a program
Hello!
I use FB 2.5,
The server has a 150 GB HD and it has 20 GB free.
My database is about 800MB in size.
Do you think having 20GB of free disk space may be a problem? I'm experiencing
a very bad performance lately and I can't figure out what can it be.

Because it is not a real error. CORE-4964 hides errors caused by failing
connection to
security database. Some of them were fixed in post releases.
