Is anyone using Flashbuilder with xdbug instead of Zend? I like PHP but Zend is
an overloaded piece of crap in my opinion, I would far rather role my own
classes and not deal with the reams of code and hassles zend provides.
Any tips/comments on this would be appreciated

I would recommend asking on the Adobe Flash Builder forum.

At least on my mac, in preferences/general, check the “show heap status

increased the memory size of flashbuilder from the
flashbuilder.ini file, but it didn't work.

Hi
I am facing a problem while doing the release build. I am using the flex 3.6
sdk in flashbuilder 4.5. External libraries used are alivepdf.swc,
autocomplete.swc, flexgrid.swc, fusioncharts.swc and mate_09_1.swc. Normal
build is taking too much time and when I do the export to release build
There’s a way to show available memory to FB. It sounds like you’re hitting
the max. You may need to break up your app into pieces.

A colleague is experiencing a problem where our app hangs the browser when

Flashbuilder). He's the only one on the team who started Flex work since the
release of 4.0.1 so I'm wondering if there are any known problems that could
This is happening again this morning, and I don't remember how I got past it
before.
Flashbuilder hangs at the start up splash screen (before workspace selection
even) while displaying Loading workbench. OS X spinning beachball. Must
force quit. Launching with -clean didn't help.
Anyone else?
Apologies for the long post, but I've painted myself into a corner here.
I've been using the demo version of FlashBuilder 4 for a couple of
months, and my demo just timed out. No problem--I've already upgraded
to CS5, which includes FB4 Standard.
That's where things started going wrong.

Not a good way to end the week. FlashBuilder hangs loading the

can delete to get up and running again?
I saw a similar post on the flex forums from a few days ago, but no
one has responded.

Hi All,
I created a SWC project using flexmojos 3.5 in FlashBuilder 4 beta2 on a
Windows XP machine. I managed to create testcases and run them in
FlashBuilder.
Today I added resource bundles. They are located in
/src/main/resources/locales (accordingly to Maven project structure). I

Adobe has said Flashbuilder will be out in first half of 2010.
Is there any in the know speculation that might narrow that down a bit?
I am starting a new project and would love to use the new features. Is anybody
using this in a serious development effort now? Is it advisable?
Thanks

I understand FlashBuilder uses v.10 of the Flash Player while FlexBuilder 3
uses v. 9. I've been using FlexBuilder. Is there a way to swap these 2 players
installed at the same time (if this is possible) via the 2 different
development environments?
My Fb works on SL without problems. We've got a few guys with Fb on SL, and we
haven't had an issue yet. Go for it! -- Cole
