Roy The top of the selection list on mine happens to be the Delta 44 and
my selection (the PreSonus ) is the second on the list and remained
selected, as normal. SVN 1248 did not change any of my selections or the
list arrangement, so I beleive you had another problem. Duffy NA6MM

was located on the KB that required a pw to access it.

Isn't the s-meter noise the integration of all of the noise in the filter
passband (or something like that)? In other words, as you narrow your
filter, I'd expect you to see the s-meter reading approach the panadapter
reading.

The sdr1k sits to one side, needing/getting little or no physical attention.
The fact that the unit draws power with its switch off and the 2 step (dc on
then sw on) power up is a nuisance, albeit a very minor one.

Does 12V power need to be removed from the SDR-5000 when not active?
