I can not confirm that the SDR1000 is dead as a post with many birdies.
I have only few birdies and heard a lot of stations during the weekend when
the band was open.
Bit I did not really measure the sensitivity on 6m.
Has anyone measured the sensitivity on 6m with the SDR1000?

Is the software momentum in the griffin knob in the sdr software or is it
part of the griffin driver?

The FLEX-5000 uses the MIDI control protocol to manipulate hardware
controls in the radio. The hooks part of the code is not exposed
fully yet, so there isn't an easy way to do this now. I could see where

controller for SDR-1000's. I often wondered if it used CAT commands via
a serial port. If so, it might be readily adapted to the 5000 using N8VB

If I correctly understand what you are describing, what you are seeing is
perfectly normal. There is no discrepancy.
Remember, an antenna tuner is grossly mis-named. It does NOT tune the
antenna; it merely lies to the transmitter, making it think that it sees a
50-Ohm resonant load.
Does this imply replacement drivers for USB :-) or not :-( ?
