The F5K does not have a sound card. The hardware has been upgraded and what used to be done in a sound card is now done in a dedicated internal DSP unit. So if you purchase 2 x 5K's you basically have 2 complete systems. That being said I do not presently know if you can run 2 firewire based

Tnx very much Lee for your info. I run PropNet from here with PSK controlling 2 radios . Each has a separate soundcard and software in a separate directory. Both radio have access to the internet for reporting Catches. At the same time I have both an Orion and Ft 1000MP/mkV control using Logic

I know the firewire will handle more than one thing the question is can the same drivers be active at the same time and identify each radio uniquely. I'm sure it can be worked out. The firebox drivers are so anal that they won't even allow a firebox card to be swapped out for another
