occur, and only found out when my own code could not be committed to the

You can no longer update *everything* by going to to the top level and
doing an svn update. There's way too much data for that and it was
causing bandwidth problems. Instead, you should create a new local
working directory for each of the projects of interest, and then do an
svn

It appears some significant improvements have been made to DSP and AGC
beginning in the SVN 1900 series. Strong signals no longer sound clipped and
the weak ones are still Q5. My current settings are as follows:
Audio Buffer: 1024
DSP/NR
Taps: 75
Delay: 50
Gain: 20
Leak: 10
Before dloading a new SVN, I simply .zip the current .mdb file with the svn#
in the name.
If something seems amiss after the dl, I rebuild the .mdb file from scratch.

I have encountered a couple of problems with SVN 1434. Power in SSB is
not adjustable in any meaningful way. With Drive at 5 I have 108 watts
out and audio is very distorted. It does not make any difference where I
put the drive. I get 108 watts out on peaks. The gate is difficult to

When you press PTT you transmit filter is shown. Check you TX profile.

change from SVN 1422 to 1424 and have not blown up anything. Switching an
ACOM1000 amp.
CPU% went from 18-22% down to 8-14%. I am using a Dual-Core AMD 4200.
Switching from RX to TX seems faster!

version and 1422. Typically on 1422 listening to CW the CPU meter runs
between 60% and 70%. With 1424, it's between 25% and 35%.

Hey Bob I have a little bug with 1424 that doesn't happen every time I
switch back from 192 khz to 48 khz, but it has happened 4 times out of
about 10 tries so it is real. Setup here is Toshiba laptop w/ P4 2.8Ghz
w/hyperthreading,2 Gig ram. Janus/Ozy audio ,but using toshiba parallel
port to
the
story?

That is a little difficult to say because the debugging process can be
painful. In this case, it is debugging SIMD assembly language programs
that need to work across multiple OS's and development platforms.
On September 4, I get to return to full time work on GPL software for
