Hello,
I am trying to set up MixW with the SDR-1000. I have MixW v2.16b8
and SDR-1000 v 1.4.5BP7.
I have problems in both BPSK31 and CW. First BPSK31. I followed the
steps in Bob's paper exactly through figure 12. MixW receives
ok. On Transmit. the power level fluctuates between 0 and

Charles,
If you are having power fluctuations, the first thing to check is that the
audio driving the hardware sounds correct. Try turning on the monitor (MON
button on top left section of front panel). This will play the transmit
audio through your speakers. Does it have audible glitches?
Charles,
Once you verify the items Eric suggested, feel free to contact me off
list. I have MixW 2.16 (no beta) running very well with PowerSDR
1.4.5p7 using VAC, VCOM and the Delta 44 sound card. I'm doing CW
(keyboard) and all ASFK modes.
Is this your basic configuration?

I remember reading some very encouraging info about the
progress that Bob G3UKB was making on his Python
implementation.
The Python project is mothballed at the moment for a number

Let me add my thanks to both Phil and Tim. So far as I am able to
tell, VAC 3.11 is completely and totally solid. I have not had a Blue
Screen of Microsoft Hades since I installed it. In addition, it seems
to be handling other things going on on the computer in a much better
manner. It
I did a little more testing with Preview 8 and if I am using VAC (no TX
audio chain processing) I get the same power output as Preview 7.
Without VAC the output still seem to be down about 40-50%.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior with Preview 8?

Hello to all,
I plan to put the sdr1k in a solid case together with a small itx-mainboard,
8'' LCD and shuttle pro controller. Power SDR will be in the
autostart-folder. Is there a way to start the radio without taking a mouse
and click the ON-button ?
Maybe I take a Touchscreen LCD but in this
Tnx to all who responded. I will check the things suggested and
report back in a couple of days. Tim, I am using the setup you are
except I am using the Firebox sound system.

Sounds like you are branching out to
hardware! Recently a group of Flexers and others got together an offshoot
fourm based on a little FPGA project board called the Xylo. We took it off the
Flex Reflector since it is a little off topic and there was a lot of interest
and activity.
Hello, all.
After upgrading my CPU from an Athlon XP 1800+ to a
XP 2600+ I was running v1.4.4 without a problem. I also upgraded from 512

However, after upgrading to a new video graphics
card, I have the following errors on all versions of PowerSDR Console, including

Noticed a notch in the audio pass band at 2kHz LSB. Monitoring either
D44
1,2 output or via VAC (3.11) . Doesn't matter what mode. Tried it USB, LSB,
CW (2.125Hz pitch) or RTTY. GDI+ or DirectX no change.
Going back to prior PowerSDR does not show this hole in the pass band.
