Just two questions: I assume that this HSI uses an ADAHRS rather than
a gyro, otherwise it would have to be calibrated, and I can't see a
calibration knob anywhere. What North does it point to then? Also, if

Hi,
I and my family are flying out to LAX for the week. I'll have some
limited/brief access to email, but probably not enough to
substantially respond to anything. I'll try and catch up on email
when I get back (not that I've ever been caught up for the last 5
years.) Work for me, spring break
On closer inspection, I agree. Steering is back-to-front (left-to-right?), but the
rudder is fine.
Where is this specified in the model?

Cool. Fixed.
Ummm, the HUD is way off the top of the screen now.
I saw the discussion about the new 3D HUD patch recently, but didn't follow it too
closely.
Should I expect the HUD to be unusable at the moment?

HI All,
I have downloaded Flightgear from CVS using the instructions on
http://www.flightgear.org/cvsResources/anoncvs.htmlpage.
I feel that when I do update, I am not getting the latest postings which are discussed in the mailing list.
Whether the instructions for CVS, in the above mentioned web

Yes, that's what I said. I was just worried that the base package might
become too big for mere users to download, as soon as each of the models
has its own xcf's. (Hint, hint!) But I agree
I updated plib and simgear from cvs yesterday and compiled both. This

the base package from cvs and then tried to launch the p51d. Got the

After editing the the config file and putting 1.60 in the version number, it
still did not run. AFAIK this isn't the right file.
I've been using this one. It has some problems, especially on the ground, but
it does fly:
