Hi all,
tonight a nice aerotow was performed (thanks to AJ), some winch starts
and the J3 as external cargo with the CH47 (thanks to Joacim).
I will do some clean up in the code, and add the gravity force of the tow...

The real challenge is to make it work over MP with a human piloting the
tow

Why don't you simply create your glider with the JSBSim FDM that
already _does_ offer the required features ?

Yes, was working on a ASK 21 but stopped when I heard
that Maik had a first fdm for the EC 135.
I used JSBSim because it seemed to me much easier.

I think Heiko was working on a glider, but I don't remember which FDM he
used.
If you need
Hi Heiko,
I am thinking of extending the yasim solver to be capable to simulate
gliders (now you need a thruster only for the solver).
But his is not the real aim. I want to add the ability to use ropes. To
be used for winch as well as for aerotow.

Hi,
I'm sure not - even the shuttle is jsbsim - why do you
ask?
