[squared or power in js config files]
Just add a nasal block in the joystick driver file (like the
Cyborg-Gold-3d driver has) in which you check for the existence
of a /rotors/ property, and if it exists set the power to 0 or another
value.
I got an idea from a X-Plane user that he removed the springs from his joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro).I tried it in X-Plane and wow how easy to keep the ship under control !Works great for me too !IsaoMelchior FRANZ [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: * Maik Justus -- 9/15/2006 12:07 AM: a new update of

excellent news; thanks :-)
Some of the joystick configurations are using squared axes, which
gives better control near the center of the stick. But the stick of a
heli is mostly not centered,
Hi all,
a new update of the helicopter flight model is in cvs.
Whats new:
- more realistic calculation of lift and drag of the rotor (as well as
simulation of the rotor disk in more than four directions). You can now
use real airfoil data.
- optimization of ground effect calculation (no
