on exit should be changed in the propertie screen of the _default file in your windows root directory. However this is insufficient. After changing the cygwin.bat file into : chdir e:\cygwin\bin cmd /c bash --login -i the problem is solved. Maybe something to add to the FAQ ? regards, Marcel
