Hi.
I have a simple table with a
heading.
I want to set the height of
this table heading to a specific height.
It seems to ignore the
'height' attribute placed on the fo:table-header
element.
Instead, it automatically
sets the height of the heading depending on the number of rows

fo:table-header doesn't have height property.
According to the spec you can use height

I asked a similar question some days ago... But not nobody answered on this
particular point.
Say I want it to have this kind of printing (needed for example for invoice
printing) :
line1 a
line2 b
line3 c

Last line in this page is line3

Look back to the archive, you've got 2 negative answers.

Retrieve marker is only allowed in static regions, so no you cannot use
it in a table header or footer to do that.

No, An fo:retrieve-marker is only permitted as the descendant of an

Hi XSL FOP Developers,
I want to ask if it is possible to have a dynamic Header implemented
in a Page-Sequence.
something like ...
fo:static-content flow-name=xsl-region-start
fo:block font-size=16pt font-weight=bold
font-family=sans-serif
Sharan, Dharmendra would like to recall the message, Dynamic Header in Page
Sequence [region-before].
Sharan,
You can use marker and retrieve marker. The header has to be variable
depending on the contents of the page. Example follows. Retrieve marker
retrieves whatever you put within the fo:marker tags. Those contents
are not output on the page. Also, your code used region-start, you want
I think you can have something like this:
xsl:for-each select=account
fo:page-sequence master-name=main
!-- Header content. --
fo:static-content flow-name=xsl-region-before
fo:block text-align=start font-size=70%
xsl:value
Hi Michail,
