i tried . but nothing seems to work. i used ultraiso in a windows system to
make a bootable gparted drive.
how do i use Gparted? and i cant find where systems is. i use ubuntu 11.04
and its all so different. i'm gettin frustrated now! argh!!

Following ana incident (incomplete install from ubuntu live cd), i
cant install an os using boot dvds. The dvd drive is working fine.
Isnt there any way i can reset/format the whole system from the
firmware level and run a fresh install of ubuntu?(i currently have
ubuntu installed but its not
i meant i would like to help.

thanks for the responses!
I dont want the files now, i just want my hard drive back. i tried
installing windows from a DVD but it does nothing(just a blinking cursor on
the screen). I cannot explore the DVD from inside linux, it says the drive
is empty, but clearly the content is
the friend is me.
Dai , can i still get access to my data if i do this? I can access the files
inside the drive where windows is located. it is still intact. but why cant
i run windows?
