Which version of QtCreator are you using? Which OS?
If you want to add Fossil plugin to your current QtCreator instance, it has
to be binary compatible. So make sure you build it with the same QtCreator
version sources and same compiler version

The Fossil plugin is free and open-source, of course. The README describes
how to build it. The most recent QtCreator version we used it with is
QtCreator-4.0.1, which is included in Qt 5.6.
