Hi, guys,
I export fm files to PDF format through PostScript. The problem is that I
hope to use crop mark in PDF file to mark the originial trim size in A4
paper. Could anyone tell me how to set crop mark to print aumatically in
Framemaker? Thanks so much!

Has anyone heard how many Adobe//Macromedia employees have been laid
off as a result of the merger? I think it's being announced today.
Poor souls. Being laid off is no fun at the best of times, but one week
before Christmas? That's gotta hurt. I guess they'll have little to
cheer about in
Dear Experts
Is there any way of controlling crop bleeds in FrameMaker other than
deliberately oversizing graphics and overhanging them from page edges? And if
the answer is 'no', how big should the bleeds be?
Or should I be ignoring bleeds in FrameMaker altogether and setting them up

Hi Steve,
You have to make things bigger and hang them off the page. I have
traditionally used 9 points or .125 (1/8) in. for bleed size.

Jakob,
I have to agree with Marcus, that attributes of that length are in the
least unusual. Still, exceeding a quantity should result in invalid SGML,
but not truncate the export. I therefore suspect you are bumping up against
an implementation dependency of some sort.

I'm confused.
You want one autonumber format to control stuff that flows through an
entire book. You want paragraph numbers not reset between chapters. If
so, then you *don't* want n=0, cuz that will restart the numbering?
To set up *one* paragraph style so that it was numbered

That's good to know - if I could sign again, I would. After fourteen years of

I was at an STC meeting last night and sat at a table with a Macromedia
