In the book file, the pagination of any given file is affected by the file after it, in particular the starting page. And that's probably what you're missing. This means that if your Chapter 1 has one page and you set it to Delete empty pages in the book file, but the Chapter 2 file is set to

The individual files in a book have a varying number of RGB color definitions. I want to delete those for several reasons, one being that the printer wants only CMYK colors. None of the RGB colors are used (that I know of), but every time I try to delete an RGB color, Frame restores it again.
