Hello Framers,
Would any of you know if there's a FrameMaker 10 User Guide, ClassRoom in a
Book or any other (paper) book on FrameMaker 10 that can be used for
training purposes?
Thanks,
Vriendelijke groet / Kind regards,

No. I believe Adobe stopped the series with version 9 unfortunately. But
I think you can use version 9 for unstructured training anyway.
Unfortunately/fortunately Adobe hasn't done much revision on FrameMakers
core functions regarding how you use paragraph styles, masterpages,
equations etc
Anyone know what the Reset button on the Paragraph Designer does??
It doesn't seem to reset the para designer to the catalog definition, nor does
it reset my selected text or para to the catalog definition.

Ah, so it keeps me from clicking back in my text to perform that function.
Thx for the clarification…now I can describe it properly!

Hello Harsh,
You should get a couple of PDFs from the Adobe website and read the intros.

Hi Harsh,
Unfortunately, the official end user documentation provided by Adobe is
incredibly poor, which makes learning ExtendScript significantly more
difficult than it needs to be.
Do you have any programming or scripting background? If you do not already
have this, I would say you need a

If you make a change in the para designer, and then want to change it back to
the previous setting, it resets it. Note though, that if you click Apply, it
doesn't set it back. It's only changes you make before clicking apply.

Most of those OWL users are on Macs, aren't they?
Maybe I'm mistakenly blaming OWL for some other code in the TCS 3.5
suite. The other day when saving as PDF it failed with an error
message in the FrameMaker console regarding some font handler. The
message said to reboot the system. Nothing else
