are rendered on.screen---as shaded boxes. Rest assured however that they
distill brilliantly.

Photoshop or whatever editor you use to create them and save them WITH
preview. You'll then see a preview of the image in FrameMaker.

Was the EPS file created with a TIFF preview? Frame cannot display EPS files
without a preview; all you get is a gray box.
I suggest opening the image in Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw and creating a
preview for the file.

You should be able to use the message URL command if you can figure
out the URL of the folder -- it won't work with mapped drive letters.
