C'mon now, Adobe, I'm wondering what the use of this Go to Insertion Point
button is. Just press your left or right arrow key and hold down the SHIFT
key while you're doing this, and you'll see your insertion point very

Hi, all.
My company will be using RH 9 with FrameMaker10 on Windows 7. It's been a long
time since I've used RH: last time, I got a book called RoboHelp 2000 in 24
Hours, worked my way through it, and got an excellent education by doing so.
That was many years ago and I need to refresh my

Hi All
Has anyone had any success inserting a video file into FM 10? Would just
be interested to know if there are any tips, etc, as with recent tests

I need to convert PDF output files back into their unstructured Frame 7

My doc has non-smart apostrophes (tics) and non-smart quotes scattered

Has anyone ever figured an easier way to remove change bars from within a table?
It's a time-consuming nightmare to remove them.
Any advice is welcomed.

In all FrameMaker versions through at least 8.0 (which is the newest version
I've used), one of the options you can select for spell-checking is to
find/correct straight quotes. It works for both single quotes/apostrophes and
double quotes.

Well, you can remove all change bars in the document easily enough. Go to
Format Document Properties.
Why is it that Adobe supports more Microsoft products than their own
documentation tool Framemaker? For that matter Microsoft doesn't even have a
documentation program (Word isn't) for much more than writing letters home
to mom. You'd think there would be a direct pdf-Frame tool.

Thanks to everyone who responded. At David Spreadbury's suggestion, I am
