-> 8.1 upgrade shipped.
Look in your Distiller log files, first, and see if there are any
clues. And then check Adobe's Acrobat user-to-user forum; as I recall,

operators to describe the structure of mathematical expressions.
If you have an unstructured document in FrameMaker, you can save it
in MIF Format and extract equations from it, using a simple ASCII
parser written ad hoc;

I've had this problem after upgrading to Acrobat 8.0 -- distiller always
leaves the .tps file in the directory. Frequently, the distiller job
initiated from Frame isn't successful. Sometimes, I can double-click the
.tps file and distill that successfully. It's generally cleaning up the
.tpdf, th
