You need to use Spot cross reference markers to create intra-text inset
cross references. These will work in your final doc. Xrefs to paragraph
markers will not resolve when updated.

Is there any way to do selective removal of Change Bars? I.e., without
removing them from the whole document (from the menu item that does

Select the area that has change bars; open the Character Designer, and from
the Commands drop-down menu choose Set Window to As
Select the text you want to (de-)change-bar, then hit ESC, c, and h (in
sequence, none at the same time). This toggles the change bar on and off.

Thanks! This seems to work in body in normal text paragraphs well, but
has a bit of difficulty with text inside paragraphs ... I may need to do
more
