I've had similar problems with FM10. Sometimes the problem is that
objects are appearing behind other objects (usually a document window,
sometimes another pod) instead of coming to the front. Try resizing
the document window or moving it around to see if there are things

Creating a standard four-page 8.5" x 11" document is the easiest if
your printer can handle it. If you save as PDF, Acrobat has booklet
printing options that will handle the layout.

When you say "printer" do you mean a print shop or a fancy
large-format laser printer?
In either case, you should be able to create the four-page 8.5x11 PDF
and use that to print two-up double-sided on 11x17, but if you're
talking about a shop, call them to make sure.

You're sure the overrides aren't on the master or reference pages?
When I was cleaning up some legacy docs in FM10 recently, I found that
any time a character tag was applied to a whole paragraph it would
show up as an override. The only way I know to stop that is a kludge:

First, Adobe would have to develop a template feature. You can kludge
something like templates but it's clunky and undocumented, especially
with regard to TOCs and other generated files.
