I've found the simplest way is to export the EDD from the template. The
elements are then listed in alphabetical order - no sections and no
comments - so you can more easily locate the element.
I've experienced the same results with Find as yourself.

rtcut method to produce the symbol
either, but using method 6, I could populate my FM document with the symbol
correctly and then be able to use it freely in the document. At least a
workaround.

I can recall, in the early days of FrameMaker, all FrameMaker documents were
given the .doc suffix.
Later, this changed to .fm, maybe around version 3 or 4.

We find that graphics on the same drive as the original files are relative.
Graphics on a separate drive are absolute.

I have let you have the. ini files from these. Currently at work, so may be at

On the reference pages, there is a frame for table footnotes. If you increase
the height of this frame, it will increase the space below the table.
If it is missing, you can copy the frame from the reference page of any new
document.
