That approach involves editing the Windows registry, not a FrameMaker parameter file. As described it should not lose all your Windows preferences. It sounds like you might have overwritten your registry with a clean default copy. I believe you can achieve the same end by checking the "Disable

If you are working on a UHD monitor, try either of these two solutions: Find the actual Frame app [C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker2015] Right click and select Properties Under Compatibility, turn on Disable display scaling on high DPI settings. If that doesn't work, try this:
