Re: [Framers] Separate printed file for each chapter (waiting to click considered harmful)

2022-09-11 Thread tammyvb spectrumwritingllc . com
Hi Bertrand,

The feature is available in AP XI. I use it all the time. I have it set up so
that I use the headless distiller from FM and under Settings, there is a
Watched Folders option. I print the ps file to the appropriate Watched folder
using the Adobe Acrobat PDF Printer and Acrobat Pro opens it immediately
afterwards based on other settings.

Does this help?

   Hi Bertrand,
I have the latest version of Distiller, and it works well. Just test
it. Create a single Postscript file, make some copies and move
   everything into a watched folder.

Thanks… but I looked up “watched folders” and only found complaints that the
feature used to be in Distiller ages ago and is not available in Acrobat. I
must be looking in the wrong place or under the wrong name. I am using Acrobat
