You have to define it, you have to check it on a few files, you have to
load the three books, you have to replicate t to the books, you have to
copy to the files and you have to check that nothing went wrong.

What if you find and replace foo\x20bar with foo\x11bar? or foo|bar
with foo\x11bar?
If you can't trust yourself to use it 100% consistently, a variable
would just add complexity.

I have a 2-word product name that I don’t want to break across lines. I know
that I could always use a non-breaking space between the words to prevent line
breaks. But that’s hard to remember to do all the time. And the
